Prize-giving for Premier Youth Football Club
St Mirren Football Club Boys’ Club held its annual prize-giving last Friday (6 June) in St Mirren supporters’ social club in Paisley, and the youngsters were thrilled with the presence of Tony Fitzpatrick, a St Mirren FC living legend.
Former St Mirren player and manager, Tony made a record 351 league appearances for St Mirren FC and he captained the Paisley club to the 1987 Scottish Cup Final as the team defeated Dundee United to lift the trophy.
Pictured with Tony Fitzpatrick and some of the St Mirren FCBC players at the prize-giving is Christine Higgins from Sovereign House Fairbriar Homes, who have helped sponsor the kit of four young St Mirren FCBC squads this season.
Sovereign House Fairbriar Homes are building a range of new homes at Ferry Village, Braehead, from apartments to townhouses.
